The Amsterdam Bar is proud to be hosting an amazing night of jazz tonight, August 15, 2011. Tonight, the Brad Leali Group with pianist Claus Raible will bring their special brand of jazz to Dallas, Texas. Bad Ass Jazz at the Amsterdam Bar is already the single best night of jazz in Dallas, Texas, but this is a do not miss show.

Announcing the first Expo Park Jazz Festival!

Just a quick post to announce Expo Park Jazz Festival 2010: The Many Faces of Jazz!

Exposition Park Jazz Fest 2010 will be a two day jazz music festival over Labor Day Weekend 2010. This inaugural event will take place at the Amsterdam Bar, located at 831 Exposition Ave, Dallas, Texas, on Sunday, September 5th and Monday, September 6th.

The bill will feature national and local jazz acts with several surprise guest appearances. The theme of the 2010 festival is "The Many Faces of Jazz." This year’s festival will highlight and pay tribute to the history and varied musical styles of this great American music tradition.
