Belhaven Scottish Ale: Beer Profile

Belhaven Scottish Ale (Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland) – 5.2% ABV: This classic Scottish Ale is a nice copper color with just a hint of haze. Like most Scottish Ales, Belhaven is light on the hops and heavy on the malt. This gives Belhaven plenty of sweetness and its fans claim to smell oak, peat, heather, smoke, and thistle in this ale. This beer goes down nice and smooth.

The Amsterdam Bar offers Belhaven Scottish Ale in bottles.
